Cayuga Clothing

The Cayuga Men wore breechcloths. They also sometimes wore leggings to protect their legs. Women wore skirts and shorter leggings. The men did not wear shirts in their time, and the women did not either, but they wore a poncho-like tunic called an overdress. They almost always wore deerskin moccasins. Women also wore beaded tiaras sometimes.
